Lg Firmware Update Stuck

So I left my phone overnight at 0% battery and woke up to find the firmware update screen. My Flash Storage was fried according to LG. Has anyone been able to figure this out??? My LG G2 is just stuck on the firmware update screen, and you cant do anything? How do you fix.

Hi all, My lg g4 is stuck on the firmware update screen. I was trying to downgrade from marshmallow to lollipop using LGUP but for some reason it didnt work and LGUP displayed an error. My phone was stuck on the update screen so i removed the battery as I was unable to turn it off with the power button. Now whenever I try to turn it on it goes to the firmware update screen. I have tried holding the power button and volume down button to do a full reset but when I get to the full reset screen and confirm it, nothing happens and it reboots the update screen again. You may need to download the LG Software Suite to fix it. You can not downgrade the software.

I have tried holding the power button and volume down button to do a full reset but when I get to the full reset screen and confirm it, nothing happens and it reboots the update screen again.My lg was doing the same thing and it wouldn't allow me to perform a hard reset while the charger was plugged in. I had to allow it to charge to around 30% then unplug the charger and perform the reset. If it's not charged a little bit it won't work and if the charger is plugged in it won't work.

I hope this helps and you perform the reset by holding the - volume down a and power key at the same time and when the LG logo pops on release just the power button. Okay, so MY lgg4 just tonight started giving me the firmware update screen when I turn it off to use my Quick Charge 2.0 charger. And to restart my phone I had to take off the case and take out the battery excetera. Plus NOTHING was happening on the update screen. It just sat their zero. Since my G4 serves me VERY well as is, and I'm not really a geek for my phone, i'm not really interested in updating to Nougat/7.0.
