****This song is quite an oddity in their catalogue I feel. I found it hard to get into at first because it didn't stand out in any way aside from sounding odd. I like that it's something a bit unexpected too. Mydiskfix na russkom. Lyrically it has always been confusing to me however.
At face value it sounds like a typical romantic song but some lyrics make me think it could be much darker than that? I still haven't figured out what it's supposed to be but my best guess is that she's very shy and has low self-esteem and is worried too much about screwing things up. And they're worried about her for that reason? Confusing indeed.
But if that is what the lyrics about then that is actually relatable to me so yay I guess. Also the transitions in the song feel a bit odd too and maybe contributed to it taking so long to grow.
But that aside, it's a refreshing track after 'Steal My Girl' and is probably my favourite of the songs I've heard from 'FOUR'.
The One Direction boys have finally dropped their long-awaited music video for ‘Night Changes’ – and it’s EXACTLY like being on a date with the boys. ’s music videos just get better and better – and their promo for ‘Night Changes’ is definitely our favourite one yet. The promo was directed by the clever Ben Winston – the brains behind many of their previous videos including ‘You And I’ and ‘Steal My Girl’ – and is shot from the point of view as if you were on a date with each of the boys. Zayn takes his girl out for a nice meal, Harry goes ice-skating, Liam goes to the fairground, Niall opts for a cosy night in by an open fire and Louis takes his girl out in a sports car.
All of the dates end up going awry in one way or another – including one of the lads being sick in their date’s hat! ‘Night Changes’ is the second single to be released from the boys’ new album ‘Four’ which is out now.
