To download with Tales of the Arabian Nights unlocked for unlimited play plus all other tables are available in demo mode. Minimum System Requirements: OS: Windows XP Processor: Dual Core 1.6 ghz or better Memory: 1 GB RAM Graphics: Graphics card supporting DirectX 9.0c and Shader Model 3.0 DirectX: Version 9.0c Hard Drive: 4 GB available space Sound Card: Direct Sound capable card NOTE: All purchases are handled strictly within The Pinball Arcade and you are required to add funds to your steam wallet for all in-game purchases. Individual table purchases are not available. You are not required to create and log into a FarSight account to make in-game purchases. A FarSight account is only required for leaderboards and Kickstarter rewards.

Only slight issue I have with the game on a technical standpoint is the fact that close-ups of some parts of a table (ex. Taxi's Spinout and HH's Cellar although BH's under-playfield runs smoothly) causes slowdowns on my 1.8 ghz dual core laptop with 3 GB of ram and an integrated Intel GPU (minimal settings at 1280x720). I suppose it's because the detail of the objects in frame increases as you zoom in on them but if that isn't true than it seems like the opposite of what bad performance usually involves (being slow when a lot of objects are on screen, but it's not slow this way for me) is happening.

I'm sure this is just an optimization issue that hopefully gets fixed. Yeah, because DRM totally both prevents and limits piracy. To be honest, I think there are more examples of situations where it's increased piracy (to avoid always-on requirements etc.) than prevented it. Once someone removes DRM, no pirate of the software will even notice that it's ever existed.

GOG.com is doing just fine without DRM. As is the Humble Bundle, which even allows people to pay $0.5 if that's what they want. The licensing agreements Farsight has for the various Pinball tables will not allow the game to be released in any way without DRM. The rights holders of the intellectual property are the ones who stipulated the mandatory use of DRM. So, Farsight has no option here regarding using DRM or not. Either they use it, or they don't release on PC.

To release it without DRM would violate the contracts they have signed and leave them open to various lawsuits, additionally it would piss off the rights holder(s) and you would likely see no more tables. So, it has DRM, nothing anybody can do about it and you will never see a version without DRM on gog.com as per the licensing agreements. This was all discussed back before Pinball Arcade was greenlit on Steam as many people suggested they use gog.com and they explained why they could not use it, which I summarized above.

Hi guys, I am just wondering at the moment what to do with this Pinball Arcade. Here is the story short: I have a few tables on the Vita, (I bought them when they were in a 4 tables pack), to find out recently that there are seasons now (yeah, long time I didn't played it). I also find out that the PC version exist. And now that I search to see if there is a Vita / PS4 cross buy option, I find out there is none. Here is my situation right now: - I have a few tables on the Vita, and would like more if it would have been cross buy with PS4 (it is with PS3, but I don't own it) - I would want more tables for the PC version, but after watching the tables for the PS4, this is a really lesser table. - I could wait for the PS4 (I still am waiting for the PS4 though, and therefore could not play it in the next one or two months).
