1701 A,D, still is not working I have a 64 bit windows 7 notebook and every time i try to play 1701 A.D., the load screen pops (not the home screen) up i click play and nothing happens, i don't hear the DVD drive spin or anything and the load screen closes without the game turning on.

Good morning everybody, Again I would like to apologize for the lack of information on this topic. Today, we can officially confirm that there will be an English version of the Anno 1701 Add-On. Within the UK the game will be published by Koch Media / Deep Silver. Expect the Add-On for January / February of 2008. Therefore we suggest that you regularly check their website for futher information on release dates and details. We are currently checking the situation for the US.

Please be patient. Varg007 I know what your problem is that the vista 64bit doesn't like 32bit game disk. I forgot about this till I just installed the game on my other 64bit computer. When you go to run the game it is showing you on the screen this info. The copy protection system drivers are not installed on this system. Please run the support DRVSETUP.EXE file from your CD/DVD to install driver. What I did was use the nocd crack because there is no update for this to run the game on a 64bit system.

I know that this is wrong but what can you do if the new game company that took over has done nothing for the English version game at all. If there is a update for this I'll take the nocd crack off because I can't do any updates using this crack.

Again I'm sorry that I'm using this crack. That is the only way that I can run the game on my 64bit system. If I run it on the vista 32bit system runs fine with no problems. Unfortantly that is not part of the solution.

When utilizing Sprites during a run, they appear as orbs following the player character. To begin with, the player can only use one Sprite at a time; however, a second slot can be unlocked by paying eight and a third by paying twenty-five Red Star Rings. Sonic sprites comic. In some cases, the timed Sprite Bottles might award the player with a pre-levelled Forever Sprite whereas other prizes only offer level one Forever Sprites.

I think it only makes it worse. What is the problem that you are having. I have run the game on both Vista 32x and 64x with no problems at all. I'm experiencing ramdon crashes during autosaving, saving and during multiplayer matches.

Especially the last problem is really annoying http://forums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif. Autosaving, saving and during multiplayer matches. Especially the last problem is really annoying I Don't do autosave becuase that is annoying. I save the game here and there when I'm playing and when I get ready to leave the game. I have never tried the multiplayer game. I'll turn on autosave and see what happens.

One other thing you can try is I have my page file memory set at 6000 to 10000. Now I don't know if that will work for you but I did that to play Hellgate London. That game loves memory and that is why I went 64bit OS. Most of the time game crashs are something running in the back ground or memory. You have a nice video card so that is not holding you back. It has to be something that is right there in front of you and you are just over looking it.

Have you tried to go into msconfig and just turn everything off and play the game. Originally posted by Varg007: Which version of Microsoft Visual C++ do you have installed?

The 2005, 2005 SP1 or the 2008 version? I have three installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64) Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable I just have been playing it on the other computer that has the nVidia 8800 gts card and having no problems other getting my butt beat.

One thing that I did see in option (Graphics) nothing was check. Antialiasing - 0, Anisotropic Filter - 0, Resolution 1024x768x32. I did not do this it mush have been when setup install the game. I did have task manager running in the back ground and it was showing me that I had no free memory. So it uses all the free memory when the game is running.
